Caching Jira Data

Caching Jira Data

Starting October 11, 2024 (Zephyr Enterprise 8.2), the Zephyr Enterprise documentation moved from its current location on Atlassian to a dedicated, standalone Zephyr Enterprise documentation page. Please see: https://support.smartbear.com/zephyr-enterprise/docs/en/zephyr-enterprise/zephyr-administration-guides/system-setup/jira-integration/caching-jira-data.html

To speed up user operations with linked Jira items, Zephyr stores some Jira data like field values in a cache.

Zephyr updates that cache regularly to maintain fresh data in it. However, in some cases, it might be possible that the values you changed in Jira have not been transferred to Zephyr yet. In this case, you can refresh the cache manually. To do this:

  1. Log in to Zephyr Enterprise as an administrator.

  2. Go to the Administration > Defect Admin settings. Then go to Jira Management > Jira Custom Fields Management tab.

  3. Select Clear All and he click Clear Cache:

You can also clear cache data of individual projects, item types or items, but we’d recommend clearing the entire cache.
