Test Case Usage History

Test Case Usage History Overview

Zephyr has provided users with the ability to preview the usage history of an individual test case which provides details about the test case executions that the test case was involved in. This section when viewing a test case is beneficial because users can see all the executions of the specific test case which includes additional information that assists users in tracking the usage of a test case.

1. To preview your test case usage, go to the Test Repository or Global Test Repository.

2. Navigate through your folder structure to specific test case where you want to view the test case usage history for.

3. Click on the test case to view it individually and then scroll down to the "Execution" section to preview the test case usage history. The test case usage history provides the following details:

  • Project - The project that the test case is being used in.
  • Release - The release that the test case is being used in.
  • Cycle - The cycle that the test case is being used in.
  • Phase - The cycle that the test case is being used in.
  • Version - The version of the test case that is being used for that specific instance.
  • Status - The test case execution status of the test case for that specific instance.
  • Defects - The defects (if any) that are attached to the test case execution for that specific instance.
  • Executed By - The user of the Zephyr system that performed the test case execution for that specific instance.
  • Executed On - The date and time that the test case execution was executed on.
