Starting October 11, 2024 (Zephyr Enterprise 8.2), the Zephyr Enterprise documentation moved from its current location on Atlassian to a dedicated, standalone Zephyr Enterprise documentation page. Zephyr's Defect Tracking System is used to track defects activity for internal Zephyr projects created in the Project Setup section. These projects are automatically added to the list shown in the image below:

Defect Fields

Defect fields can be modified or customized:

  • Components - This is a mandatory field. It will show up as a drop-down list when filing a new defect. Items for this drop-down list are added in this section. If you are not planning to use this field, please add a default value like "Example Component", as this is required.

  • Custom Field 1 and Custom Field 2 allow adding custom fields and a list of items for the drop-down list.
