The steps below describe in detail the general process of adding, editing, cloning, deleting, and exporting test cycles in a project for Zephyr Enterprise. There are options to add, edit, delete, and export test phases. There are also steps to add and delete test cases from a phase as well as the ability to assign the test case(s) to users in the system. In test planning, users are able to perform synchronization, flag, and unflag nodes and test cases. To view further instructions for each individual function, please click the links provided below. By clicking on a link, you will be redirected to the page with the steps corresponding to the function selected.

Synchronization
Once a Test Cycle is created and assignments are made, additional nodes or test cases (newly created, modified or moved within Test Repository) can be changed in a cycle. If nodes or test cases have been deleted in the Test Repository tool, they can be deleted from the cycle. This is done via the Sync button found in the toolbar of the assignment window.
1. Click on the button towards the top left of the interface.
- On clicking this button, the following prompt is displayed:
2. Simply click "Continue" to proceed with the synchronization.
Flag/Unflag Nodes and Test Cases
On synchronizing as above, test cases and/or nodes that have been added to this phase are now highlighted with a yellow star that indicates that these are new or modified. This allows for easy identification of which nodes have new test cases added to them as well as actually identifying those test cases with a yellow star too. Once these test cases have been identified, it becomes easy to select them and perform an assignment as described above.
Selecting a node in the tree and clicking on the toggle button in the toolbar allows that flag to be reset (or set, on a subsequent click). Selecting a single test case or multiple test cases in the grid on the right and clicking on the toggle button allows that flag to be reset (or set, on a subsequent click). Clicking on the star directly in the grid behaves the same way too.
