How to track and execute Automated tests
Test execution scheduling and assignments must be set up before testers can start executing test cases in their Test Execution application.
Once assigned, testers and leads open their Test Execution application, navigate to the appropriate cycle/phase/system/sub-system, select the testcase(s) they want to execute and click on the "E" button or the "Execute Multiple" button. This will allow them to pick a ZBot (a remote agent running on the target automation system) and kickoff their automation script.
Automation script runs can automatically update their execution status via a Zephyr API or a tester/lead can update it manually in Test Execution.
