7.8 Release Notes
3February 7, 2022
Improvements
We’ve improved algorithms of database indexing to make the entire indexing procedure more reliable for Zephyr instances running on multiple servers (nodes).
We’ve also streamlined some database-related operations.
We've updated internal algorithms to make the product even more secure and reliable.
Finally, we’ve improved the Zephyr Jira plugin so now it shows information on test cases linked to Jira issues.
Security
The bundled Apache Log4j library has been updated to v. 2.17.1 to address CVE-2021-44832.
Bug fixes
We have fixed a few issues with exporting test execution data:
The data in some columns of the exported Excel file didn’t match the column name. (ZEPHYR-31586)
The data of test executions exported from the search results to a PDF file contained invalid defect tracker IDs. (ZEPHYR-32533)
In some cases, the export was too slow. We’ve improved internal algorithms and made the export 2-2.5 times faster (ZEPHYR-32534)
Sorting didn’t work properly in the “Administration > User Setup” table (ZEPHYR-31840).
An issue with pick list items in the Custom Fields editor: the Id column in the Items list box showed the items’ positions rather than their IDs. When you deleted an item from this list, the IDs of other items were changed automatically. (ZEPHYR-32591)
Imported test cases placed to the project Test Repository could be deleted if you logged out or moved to Requirements, Test Execution, or another section. (ZEPHYR-32620)
The rich text editor didn’t display indentation correctly for imported test steps. (ZEPHYR-32618)
The “Reports > TestCase Execution Progress” screen incorrectly displayed the test cycle names that included an ampersand (
&
). (ZEPHYR-32632)The API operation
/flex/services/rest/v3/defect/admin/setup
failed to create a new user account if the specified username included certain special characters. (ZEPHYR-32633, ZEPHYR-32638)
