Description

In Zephyr Enterprise, test cases are executed in the testing execution section. Users can execute test cases in the test execution section of the system which helps to provide and define the series of tests to be executed. To learn how to add and delete test cases, please view the steps below.

TermDescription
Test ExecutionThe method of executing test cases and updating the status of those assigned test cases.
Manual Test CaseTest cases that are assigned without an automated script. A generic test case.
StatusThe current state or condition of either the assigned test case or the condition of the test steps for a particular test case.

Executing Test Cases and Test Steps

Prior to Executing

Prior to executing, there must be an existing project/release with test cases that are assigned to a user or to "Anyone"  in Zephyr Enterprise. The project/release must be selected and the user must be under the Test Execution section within the release selected. 

Scenario: You are a testing manager in Zephyr Enterprise. As a testing manager, you want to execute a test case and its test steps in the test execution section.



1. Click on the folder of the test phase where you're adding test cases to and then click on the button at top left of the interface.
