Create

Testing teams undertake a variety of structured activities from writing tests to planning test cycles, executing manual and automated tests to filing defects and doing all that all over again. These activities are typically undertaken in a test management solution such as Zephyr Enterprise Edition and Zephyr for JIRA. Outside of these structured activities, the team has to undertake a number of different tasks like documenting testing strategies and plans, keeping track of requirements under test, creating a test schedule, tracking testing activities and reporting on software quality based on testing that happens in the test management solution.

Zephyr Blueprints for Confluence allows project teams to create, organize, track and report on such testing related information.

Like all things in Confluence, the "Create" button starts off the process and 3 different types of Zephyr Blueprints are available:

Test DashboardUsing the Dashboard Blueprint, create and maintain testing dashboards to update project teams and management on quality status. Integrate appropriate test metrics, annotate and publish status. Bring in your testing metrics from Zephyr Enterprise Edition and/or Zephyr for JIRA and insert them into testing dashboard blueprints. Customizable macros also let you insert these metrics into any Confluence page.
Test Plan and SchedulesUsing the Test Plan Blueprint, build consistent Test Plans, track all your testing activities and test schedules and keep focused on the testing requirements for your software projects.
Testing ActivitiesUsing the Activities Blueprint, create, assign and track testing activities across the entire project team.

Each of these blueprints has a wizard that walks through some options and produces a well formatted document that allows users to start inputting their content or configure their charts to show the relevant test metrics.
