Use Zephyr Enterprise 7.15.1 to experience the latest improvements.

Announcements

 

  • Due to security changes in Zephyr Enterprise 7.15.1, the basic authentication for Bamboo is no longer supported. Instead, we recommend to use API token (Create and Manage API Tokens in Zephyr) in place of basic authentication for Bamboo.

  • Zephyr Enterprise Jira Plugin Support for Jira version 7.x and lower will end in March 2023. After that, we will only support Jira version 8.x and later.

  • Zephyr Enterprise v7.15.1 supports MySQL v5.7.x.
    If upgrading directly to v7.15.1 from an older version, you must be running on the latest supported version. Please know that we still support MSSQL and Oracle DB. But we no longer support MySQL 5.6.x.

  • Zephyr Enterprise currently supports direct upgrades from the older version starting at v7.6.
    If you need to upgrade from an older version below v7.6, please contact support.

  • When upgrading a version to 7.15.1 you do not have to upgrade to 7.14.1 or any other intermediate versions of Zephyr Enterprise.

Improvements

 

Multi-Select Field Search

  • Ability to filter data through multi-select custom fields (ZEPHYR-33600)

UI:

  • Input field is added for the username property on SSO auto-provisioning (ZEPHYR-33798)

Performance:

  • Duplicate Testcase version ID is removed while fetching the test steps (ZEPHYR-34182)

 Fixed:

 

  • Error “max_clause_count” while using <Application fix> search (ZEPHYR-34150)

  • “Select Cycle” and “Select Phase” values now do not reset on “Maintain assignments of original schedule” checkbox (ZEPHYR-34075)

  • Release drop-down now displays all releases under the "Go Release" dropdown (ZEPHYR-33967; ZEPHYR-33966)

  • “Allow creating internal requirements” checkbox now remains “unchecked” (ZEPHYR-33706)

  • External defects and their statuses are not affected after linking from Test Execution module (ZEPHYR-33640)

  • DB locks are cleared when sessions end (ZEPHYR-33957)

  • Fallback mechanism works now if data is not available in cache (ZEPHYR-33362)

  • Validation using external API, so requirements are mapped within the same release to avoid data corruption (ZEPHYR 33376)

  • Ability to highlight and copy the contents of test steps from one box to another without opening a new text box (ZEPHYR-33238)

  • The Execution results button is now visible when you click refresh
    on the "Start new execution" browser tab. (ZEPHYR-34577)

 

Security fixes:

  • High-priority security vulnerability was addressed that affects all versions of Zephyr Enterprise.
