Here at Zephyr, we’re proud to bring you a new feature that offers you the capability to integrate and import your automated test case results. Our Automation Testcase Organizer and Manager (A.T.O.M) provides our users with the ability to easily import, organize, and manage their automated test case results. We support various integration methods to allow our users to directly import the test results of their automated test cases from essentially anywhere. A.T.O.M supports multiple test automation frameworks that are used within the testing industry. By adding A.T.O.M as a new feature, increases productivity and functionality of Zephyr for Jira. A.T.O.M will essentially read and create the required test cases as well as appropriately updating the test case execution results as part of its' core functionality. With its' various integration methods and functionality, Zephyr is extending the capabilities of our Zephyr for Jira product to cover the broader spectrum of all testing practices.

A.T.O.M supports the following automation frameworks:

  • Egg Plant

  • JUnit

  • Selenium

  • SoapUI

  • TestNG

  • Tricentis Tosca

  • UFT

A.T.O.M offers multiple ways to import and integrate the results of your automated test cases directly in Zephyr for Jira.

Upload Option: With this integration method, the user defines the metadata for A.T.O.M to be able to import the automation results from. The user would then upload the results file from one of the supported automation frameworks. A.T.O.M will then automatically create the test cases in Zephyr for Jira and the statuses of the test case executions would be set to match the results file that was uploaded.

ZBot Option: With this integration method, the user would install ZBot on the same server that the test-run result file is created. After installing and starting ZBot, it will automatically pick up the test-run result file, relay it back to the configured Zephyr for Jira instance and then import the results. The ZBot can be downloaded directly from the Help menu located on all Zephyr-owned pages in Jira.
