  • If you select the Embedded MySQL database, no further database setup is required; proceed to Step 9.

    (warning) The database will be installed on the same server. The embedded MySQL should only be used for evaluation purposes, not for production instances. We recommend that you always use an external database for improved performance and easy maintenance when setting up your production instance or server.


  • You can select an external installation of MySQL (recommended for production environments).
