Cloning Requirements
Prior to Cloning Requirements
Prior to cloning requirements, there must be an existing project, release, and requirement that has been created in Zephyr Enterprise. The project/release must be selected and the user must be under the Requirements section within the release selected.
Scenario: You are a testing manager in Zephyr Enterprise. As a testing manager, you want to clone an existing requirement in Release 1.0 in project Mercury.
If this is your first time managing requirements, you might want to work within a test project rather than an actual project in the system, and that way, you can work out any issues you might have with managing requirements before you work with live requirements.
1. Select/check off any of the requirements that you want to clone on the left hand side of the table.
2. Once you have your selected requirement(s) to clone, you simply click the "Clone" button at the top of the table.
3. You can view the newly cloned requirement(s) added to the bottom of the table and make any additional edits to the cloned requirement(s) if you want to change it.
- The cloned requirement(s) copy the exact fields from the selected requirement(s).
Starting Release 8.2, Zephyr Enterprise documentation is moving from its current location on Atlassian to a dedicated, standalone Zephyr Enterprise Documentation page. https://support.smartbear.com/zephyr-enterprise/docs/en/welcome-to-zephyr-enterprise.html
