In Zephyr, projects consists of releases, requirements, test cases, test executions, and defects that exist within the system for testing. Managers can add, edit, and delete additional projects to the system which includes the following fields and options: Name, Start Date, and other optional fields. When adding and editing projects, managers are able to allocate users to specific projects to work on as well.

TermDescription
ProjectA series of QA tasks performed in a period of time. Projects contain releases/iterations which house periods of time for testing.
NameThe unique name given to a project to distinguish a project.

Start Date

The initial date that the project is started. This date is important as all subsequent activities and dates are set past this point.
ResourcesUsers of the system that can be assigned/allocated to work on specific projects.
