Testing teams undertake a variety of structured activities from writing tests to planning test cycles, executing manual and automated tests to filing defects and doing all that all over again. Outside of these structured activities, the team has to undertake a number of different tasks like documenting testing strategies and plans, keeping track of requirements under test, creating a test schedule, tracking testing activities and reporting on software quality based on testing that happens in the test management solution.
Zephyr Blueprints for Confluence (Server version) is an add-on application that resides in Confluence and allows project teams to create, organize, integrate and report on testing related information. Team members can create and maintain Testing Dashboards while bringing in real-time testing metrics data from test management solutions such as Zephyr Squad. These metrics can be annotated and published. Test Plan blueprints allow the creation of standardized test plans for individual project releases while keeping track of requirements and monitoring a testing schedule. Test Activities blueprint allows team members to create, assign and track testing related tasks.
